The Gangurrus take Silver

FIBA 3×3 World Cup Result
The women’s Gangurrus bring home the silver in the FIBA 3×3 World Cup held in Warsaw.
Beating the Netherlands to advance to the Gold Medal game against the United States the team lost to the USA by one point in the dying seconds of the game.
Pulling back a significant deficit with a 7-2 run to get the game to 17 all, Australia managed to get ahead 20-19 with the clock counting down the last few seconds of the game.
Ultimately the Americans got the win from a two point shot by Mikaylah Williams with only 28 seconds of game time left.
To top off the team’s performance at the World Cup, Amy Atwell was named to the Team of the Tournament.
