Linden Moore
Linden Moore advocates for women’s basketball, focusing on promoting the sport in New Zealand and more recently overseas.
Her work focuses on promoting the stories of people involved in the sport, aiming to inspire girls to become involved.
Having personally felt the impact of players in New Zealand, Linden aims to share stories through her work with the New Zealand Tall Ferns, Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa and community grassroots organisations on her Instagram channel @nz_nbl_girl.
Linden graduated with her PhD from Auckland University of Technology in 2025 with a thesis focussed on community sport ambassadorship in women’s and girls basketball.
Currently she is a researcher in the topic areas of women’s sport, ambassadorship, sport marketing, and social media and holds a position as lecturer in Sport Management at Northumbria University in England.
Linden was an early contributor to STB including live pods at the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup in 2023. She has recently launched her international sports podcast The Pas(sport) Podcast
